Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 at Samsung Forum 2011 – Video Within

The most anticipated device at this Samsung Regional Forum 2011 is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. It has the latest Google Honeycomb (Android 3.0) with a 10.1-inch screen.

Some features of this tablet. It has a WXGA screen (1280 x 800).

And it has surround sound.

Of course, not forgetting that it has a front (2.0 MPX) camera and a rear (8.0 MPX) camera and is running on Dual Core processor.

Physical Look

The back has the same texture (which I like it) as Samsung Galaxy Pro or S II.

Close up of the camera.

At one glance, the sides look at Apple iPad. This is the top view.

A close up look.

The on/off button.

The bottom view.

The side views.

And the OS is Google Android Honeycomb (Android 3.0).

From the above, you can see that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is very reflective and a fingerprint magnet.

My personal opinion is that the Google Android Honeycomb is almost a complete change to the other Android OS. You may need some time to get use to it. For the Galaxy Tab 10.1 itself, it is fast and light (599 grams).

However, during a demo, I saw two units freeze before my eyes. The person has to reset the devices to make them work again. I think it might be due to so many people touching it.

I actually love the way ebooks can be read from this device (see below).

Here is a short video on the camera function, ebook feature.

No mention of when it will arrive in Singapore or the pricing.
