Canon has finally fixed the problem of light leaking from the Canon EOS 5D Mark III. But many did not expect Canon’s fix is so simple (yet effective). Canon uses a black tape to cover the circuit boards and it really solve the problem, according to LensRental.
This is the original 5D Mark III without the light leak fix.
I think Canon has come up with a cost effective way to deal with this issue.
