Finally, M1 has officially posted on their online M1 Shop non-camera iPhone. It ranges from 8GB iPhone 4 to 64GB iPhone 4s. As many in Singapore already know, this will be like a wishlist for Military personnel in Singapore.

A few days ago, I blogged about non-camera iPhone from Singapore Telcos and also about M1 who put up the information but pulled it down later.

Now it is official. M1 has put up non-camera iPhone on their online M1 Shop. This non-camera iPhone model is NOT from Apple, based on the report.

It seems that the removal service (front and rear camera) is from third party and the process is irreversible. And it costs more to have a non-camera iPhone than a standard one (S$49 more). The service is endorsed by Mindef and a certification will be provided to identify it.

If you need warranty, it will be issued by the third party vendor at additional S$321 that will follow Apple’s warranty terms. The phones are sold with contract. There is no option for non-contract non-camera iPhone.

As for the other two Telcos (Starhub, SingTel), they have yet to follow but are already in talk with Mindef (according to the report)
