If you have been waiting to jailbreak your iPhone 4s or iPad 2 for the longest time, the wait is over. It is finally here. The team of hackers and developers have finally succeeded to jailbreak the iPhone 4s and iPad 2 with Core Processor A5.

But before you rejoice, do note that the jailbreak is available fro Mac OS X only (at this moment). And do take note of the version on your iPhone or iPad when you do the upgrade.

The enhancement made to Greenpois0n that enables iOS devices with A5 processors to be jailbroken has been dubbed “Absinthe A5,” and users need to load the Greenpois0n website on their devices in order to trigger the jailbreak. Users having problems loading the site in Safari should simply go into Settings and enable VPN — after about a minute, the device will reboot and the jailbreak will be applied.
