Tune in to On Air Hangout with will.i.am on Google+

will.i.am from Black Eyed Peas will be broadcasting via Google+ Hangout On Air. This is a new feature on Google+. The special session hosted by will.i.am will be at 9:00am today (22nd September Singapore time).

Users can now hold a broadcast or tune in to their favourite people
with Google+’s latest feature

Singapore, September 21, 2011 – One of the new features of Google+,nowinopenbeta, is Hangouts On Air, which lets Google+ users speak to a large audience, or alternatively view others as a spectator in cases where a public broadcast is what’s desired.

In one of the very first showcases of Hangouts On Air, there will be a special hangout hosted by celebrity musician will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas-fame. This will happen at 6:00pm US Pacific time on 21 September 2011 (9:00am 22 September 2011 Singapore time).

will.i.am. is just one of many celebrities on Google+ and anyone who joins the service will be able to look for people and topics they are interested in.

Singaporeans are invited to participate in will.i.am’s Hangout on Air by joining Google+ and adding will.i.am to one of their Circles by visiting will.i.am‘s profile page.

Hangouts On Air is one of the new features on Google+ as it moves from field trial to beta. For the past 12 weeks Google+ has been in field trial, and during that time the team has listened and learned a great deal. Google+ is nowhere near done, but with the improvements the team has made so far, Google+ is now ready to move from field trial to beta and open signups.
