HP has launched HP Print AI in Singapore, bringing AI-powered printing features to compatible home and office printers. The idea is to make everyday printing less fiddly and more predictable.
Instead of users wrestling with web pages that print with awkward spacing, unwanted ads, oversized images or extra pages, HP Print AI aims to help people get cleaner, more readable printouts the first time.
A key feature is Precise Print, which automatically tidies web-based content before it is printed. That matters because many common print jobs today come from online articles, recipes, travel details and how-to guides, where what looks good on screen often becomes messy on paper. HP is also positioning the launch as a more future-ready choice for customers buying new printers, with AI-enabled support that can guide setup, remember preferences and provide more customised help over time.
The announcement also points to HP’s broader push into AI-assisted workflows beyond home printing. For businesses, HP Scan AI Enhanced can recognise scanned document types and extract useful information based on business needs, helping reduce manual data entry and administrative effort. HP says the technology is available now on selected DeskJet, Envy, Smart Tank, OfficeJet Pro and LaserJet printer families, with Windows 11 required.
