Play For Dream Mixed Reality Headset Launched in Singapore

Thanks Play For Dream for the invite, I am able to witness the launch of the Play for Dream Mixed Reality (MR) headset in Singapore. It will be available from October 2024.

Pricing-wise, it will be around USD 2,000 depending on the storage capacity. Singapore and Malaysia will be the first to get it, followed by Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Japan, which are planned for 2025.

I had the chance to play with it using the various modes. Check this out.

First impression is that it is definitely the rival of Apple Vision Pro at a sweet price point.

With its low latency, I am able to wear it and walk around without feeling dizzy. You can see me wearing it and walking around in the video.

The Play for Dream MR headset is supposed to represent these 6 things – Cinema, TV, Computer, Game Set, VR and 3D camera.

It is interesting that Play for Dream wants to launch this product in Singapore and Malaysia first. And for this launch, Play for Dream has invited a lot of VIPs from various sector.
