Here is my short take on the latest Samsung products that were announced today. They are the Samsung Galaxy Flip4, Galaxy Fold4, Galaxy Watch5, Galaxy Watch5 Pro, and the Galaxy Buds2 Pro. Remember to read on for their availability and pricing.

Check out my hands-on video here as I commented on each product.
Below are some pictures that I have taken. I will try to elaborate on each one.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4
As you can see from this picture below, the folding line on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 is quite prominent. However, it has to do with the lighting conditions. And truthfully speaking, after a while, you will forget about that folding line.

Comparing the camera lenses from the two devices, you can see that the Z Fold4 comes with 3 cameras and each of them has large lens (as compared to the Z Flip4 with 2 cameras). I am not sure how good or bad these cameras are as I have not tested them out. Based on the specs, they are very different.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 Camera System
Front Camera:
- 10MP Selfie Camera, F2.4, Pixel Size: 1.22um, FOV: 80 degrees
Rear Dual Camera:
- 12MP Ultra Wide Camera, F2.2, Pixel Size: 1.12um, FOV: 123 degrees
- 12MP Wide-Angle Camera, Dual Pixel AF, OIS, F1.8, Pixel Size: 1.8um, FOV: 83 degrees
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 Camera System
Cover Camera:
- 10MP Selfie Camera, F2.2, Pixel Size: 1.22um, FOV: 85 degrees
Under Display Camera:
- 4MP Under Display Camera, F1.8, Pixel Size: 2.0um, FOV: 123 degrees
Rear Triple Camera:
- 12MP Ultra Wide Camera, F2.2, Pixel Size: 1.12um, FOV: 123 degrees
- 50MP Wide-Angle Camera, Dual Pixel AF, OIS, F1.8, Pixel Size: 1.0um, FOV: 85 degrees
- 10MP Telephoto Camera, PDAF, F2.4, OIS, Pixel Size: 1.0um, FOV: 36 degrees

One thing that I observed. If you compare the two smartphones, you noticed that the Z Flip4 is actually broader compared to the Z Fold4.

As you may or may not know, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 has a S Pen (I believe it is sold separately). It is a non-battery type. If you like the S Pen, it is better to invest in this cover. It has a S Pen holder.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4
When it comes to form factor, I like the Z Flip4. It folds nicely into half which is really great for keeping it in your pocket.

And because it can fold into half, you can perform the FlexCam mode as shown in the picture below. It feels like you are taking video like a camcorder.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro
The Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro only comes in 45mm size. It has a bigger capacity battery and similar sensors on it. Do check out the video for more information.

Here is the view for the sensors.

One thing I like about this device is the D-Buckle. With the D-Buckle, you can take out and wear back the watch easily.

Samsung Galaxy Watch5
The Samsung Galaxy Watch5 comes in two sizes – the 40mm and the 44mm.

It has a number of sensors on its back.

And if you love to accessorize yourself, check out the different watch straps.

Based on the specs, the Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro runs on Wear OS Powered by Samsung and their UI is One UI Watch4.5. They have the same sensors: –
- Samsung BioActive Sensor (Optical Heart Rate + Electrical Heart Signal + Bioelectrical
Impedance Analysis) - Temperature Sensor
- Accelerometer
- Barometer
- Gyro Sensor
- Geomagnetic Sensor
- Light Sensor
Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro
The Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro is 15% smaller than the previous model. It has some interesting specs like 24bit Hi-Fi and 360 Audio with Direct Multi-Channel. It is water resistance up to IPX7. There are 3 colors to choose from: Graphite, White, and Bora Purple.

Quick Summary
If you needed a big foldable screen with reasonably good camera, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 is definitely the one. If you want a foldable phone that has half the size of current smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 is good. What you might be compromising will be the cameras.
On the Galaxy Watch5 Series, if you don’t need the longer battery life and bigger screen size, the Galaxy Watch5 is a good option as most of the specs are the same.
For the Galaxy Earbuds2 Pro, I will need to test it out for a more balanced opinion. What I am interested is the ANC, Ambient Sound and Microphone features.
Let me know what you think about these latest products from Samsung.
