Thanks to Xiaomi, I was invited to the opening of its 8th Xiaomi Authorized Store in Waterway Point in Singapore. And I was able to interact with Xiaomi Cyberdog during the visit.
As you may or may not know, the Xiaomi Cyberdog is launched in August 2021 in China. During the initial launch, only 1,000 units are sold to Xiaomi Fans, engineers, and robotic enthusiasts. I was informed that this is the 2nd time the Cyberdog appears outside China officially.
Although not fully autonomous, this Cyberdog is able to follow a person when the follow mode is activated. As to how it will be used in the future, we are not sure. As of now, think of it as a robotic dog that is able to perform some tricks. You can check out what it can do in this video that I took during the event.
Once again, congrats to Xiaomi on their new store opening.
