Today, Google announces the new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones. And Google also introduces the Google Tensor chip and Titan M2 security chip that are built into the smartphone. They come in different colorways and have a price point that seems acceptable for most.
The price of the Pixel 6 starts from USD599 and the Pixel 6 Pro from USD899. Looking at the specs, I am not sure why is there a USD300 gap. Pre-order starts today. However, I do not see it on Google Store Singapore. In fact, the latest phone on Google Store Singapore is the Pixel 4a. That is sad.
I think Google has done something different as compared to other brands. They have made a smartphone that is unique in its outlook and people can immediately recognize it as the Pixel phone. And they have done a nice selection of colors too.
