Microsoft Windows 11 is here. However, you may have to wait for months before it reaches you. If you are lucky, you should be able to see it when you check for updates. If you did not see it, here is how you can get it manually.
Before rushing to get Windows 11, you need to meet Microsoft’s minimum hardware requirements for your PC. If not, you will not be able to install it. And just for your information, Microsoft will end Windows 10 support by 2025.
Here is a safe and simple way to check if you meet Windows 11 requirements. First, you will need to download this app from Microsoft.

Install and run the app. You should be able to see if your PC is suitable for Windows 11 or not (see above image). For my PC, it is suitable for Windows 11. Here are a list of items that they check.

Are you ready to upgrade to Windows 11? Here are two ways which I think is the easiest: –
Method 1
- Go to “Settings”
- Select “Update and Security”
- Click on “Check for updates”
If the Windows 11 rollout reaches you, you will “Feature update to Windows 11”. Click “Download and install”.
Method 2
- Download Windows 11 Installation Assistant
- Follow the instructions
On the Internet, there is a lot of information on how you can get Windows 11. I believe these 2 methods are the safest. If you are not in the hurry to get Windows 11, just wait for the rollout to reach you.
