DJI launches yet another awesome product – the DJI Mavic Air. In my opinion, it is a hybrid of Mavic Pro and DJI Spark. And it seems that DJI has listened to the comments about both the Mavic Pro and Spark to come up with this product.
I feel that DJI is competing against itself since GoPro has declared that they are stopping their drone business and there is no other company in the consumer market that is as strong as DJI.
Here are some of my favorite features: –
- Foldable and Portable – It may not be as small as Spark. However, it is foldable and comes with a nice semi-hard casing that fits in your palm (large palm).
- Foldable landing legs – This actually is awesome because it can reduce some footprint when you want to keep it in storage.
- 3-Axis Gimbal – It is a must to have 3-axis gimbal if you want to shoot awesome footage.
- 4K video – It shoots 4K (BTW, Spark shoots in full HD only).
- Sensors – Front, Back, Bottom to avoid crashing it.
