TechieLobang has Revamped to Serve You Better

In a blog post last year, I talked about revamping the blog to serve everyone better. I am glad to announce that TechieLobang has been revamped and it is better than before.

What Changes

TechieLobang.com is SSL certified

It means you will see that extra “s” on the URL: https://techielobang.com. Starting October 2017, Chrome (version 62) will show a “NOT SECURE” warning when users enter text in a form on an HTTP page, and for all HTTP pages in Incognito mode.

TechieLobang has to ensure that the highest standard of security for readers. With SSL certificate installed, you can have a peace of mind navigating through the blog posts.

TechieLobang is Mobile Friendly

You might be laughing to think why this is so important. For the longest time, TechieLobang is NOT mobile friendly. So, when you navigate TechieLobang on smart devices, you might get frustrated.

It is a thing of the past now. It brings me great joy to announce that TechieLobang is now mobile friendly. Go try it out!

The width of the blog has increased to 1200 pixels. And the width of the blog post has increased from 600 pixels to 800 pixels. It may not seem a lot but the effect is really good, in my opinion.

Language Selection at TechieLobang

You can now change the language on TechieLobang to something you can understand, thanks to Google Translate.

If you scroll down on the front page of TechieLobang, you can see one column with “Review” and another with “Event”. Scroll down further, you can see a carousel section on “Mobility Devices”.
