Panasonic introduces World’s First Rugged Detachable Toughbook CF-20

For those looking for tough laptop with detachable screen, check out the Panasonic Toughbook CF-20. It  as a 10.1-inch  capacitive multi-touch WUXGA screen suitable for workers who need to operate touchscreens with gloves. In addition, the optional IP55 Digitizer pen allows users to write and draw in challenging condition.

Looking at the pictures, I wonder how they manage the contact points. Thankfully, with its tough construction, I am sure we can spray water on them during cleaning. Priced fromm USD3,699, this is not the normal laptop that you will use daily.

With its tough look, I thought it will weigh a ton. Surprisingly, it is just 1.76 kg in notebook mode and 950grams in tablet mode (detach from the keyboard).
