It is also packed with up to NVIDIA GeForce GT840M graphics card with 2GB of discrete VRAM for smooth video playback or gaming performance. As the name implies, from a standard laptop mode, it is easy to flip the screen instantly to suit whatever task the user wants to perform — whether it is a media stand for watching a movie or viewing photos, a shared viewer for easy collaboration with friends, family or colleagues, or a tablet for playing the latest games.

The Flip also features a bright and clear display with up to full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution touchscreen with a cleverly-engineered hinge that allows the user to rotate it freely up to 360 degrees from the fully-closed position. Furthermore, the exclusive ASUS Splendid technology provides rich and vibrant colours on the screen to ensure a visually stunning experience for any form of content.

With a high precision 6mm-diameter actuators, the Flip’s touchscreen is incredibly accurate and responsive. The seamless one-piece chiclet keyboard is ergonomically designed for optimum typing feel, and the large multi-touch touchpad supports Smart Gestures for precise and natural fingertip control on the Flip. With Instant On technology, the Flip only takes two seconds to resume from sleep. Data loss is no longer a concern as files and data are automatically backed up when the Lithium-polymer battery charge drops below 5%.
