The news of Samsung GALAXY S5 has started a while ago. Now, the latest news says that it might come in two models, Prime and Standard. Prime is the premium version while Standard is the slightly lower specs version.
As the specs are a bit sketchy here, it might not be the actual specs when it is launched. Here are some speculation specs:
- The Prime and Standard will both have 5.2-inch.
- The Prime will have 4K screen while Standard will have full HD screen.
- The Prime will come with Samsung Octa-core Exynos 5430 processor while the Standard will come with a Quad core Snapdragon 800 processor.
- Both will come in 32-bits processor.
- The Samsung Touchwiz might be changed to a tiled version similar to the recent Samsung GALAXY NotePro or TabPro
- The Fingerprint sensor will be underneath the screen
- 3 GB of RAM
- 16 MPX rear camera, 2 MPX front camera
- 2,850mAh battery
Based on rumors, Samsung might announce GALAXY S5 during MWC (Mobile World Congress) in February. Actually, the only specs that I have question is the 32-bits processor. Previously, some rumors are saying 64-bits processor.
