StarHub 4G network rollout along Circle Line almost completed

Updated: StarHub updated to mention that major CCL stations are completed

After SingTel announced their network enhancement on NEL and CCL today, StarHub responded by stating that their 4G network along the CCL (Circle Line) is already 85% almost completed (not bad).

Here is the response from StarHub to me: –

“StarHub’s 4G service is available at major Circle Line MRT stations. For the North East Line, StarHub has 4G coverage in four MRT stations (Dhoby Ghaut, HarbourFront, Hougang and Little India). We are also enhancing our 3G network coverage at the same time. Though one of the challenges we face is the limited access given by train operators for us to carry out works in MRT tunnels and stations, we are doing our best to speed up network upgrades for our customers.”

BTW, this information is attributed from Mr Lim Eng Huat, Head of Mobile Network Engineering, StarHub. In anyway, these are good news to commuters for both Telcos.
