Nokia announces Asha 210 with WhatsApp button (video)

Nokia announces Asha 210 yesterday (24th April). This is something they teased about previously. Asha is a candy bar phone with QWERTY keyboard and with an unique WhatsApp button. It is touted by Nokia as the WhatsApp phone.

Unique features of the phone:

The smarter Internet experience on the Asha 210 means that when you’re not on WiFi, the phone goes easy on your data plan. The Nokia Xpress Browser uses cloud-based technology to reduce data consumption by up to 90 per cent.

The Nokia Asha 210 comes with a single SIM or a Dual SIM model. It will be available in the 2nd Quarter of 2013 (not sure if Singapore will get it). It will be available in yellow, cyan, black, magenta and white. It is expected to be priced at around USD 72.
