Panasonic Micro Color Splitter Sensor brightens pictures in low light (video)

In the near future, we may be able to take better pictures in low light conditions if Panasonic launches its Micro Color Splitter Sensor. Instead of using conventional color filters which causes 50% to 70% of light loss, Panasonic uses this new Color Splitter Sensor to produce the image. The end result is a brighter picture.

The beauty of this system is that it can be used with CCD, CMOS or BSI sensors. Check out the video for a clear explanation.
