With the advance in technology, we still could not detect the meteorite that crashed into Russia on the 15th February 2013. Based on the reports and videos, it came from no where and most of the video are caught by car video cams or security cameras.
I cannot imagine if the meteorite is bigger and hitting at a dense area. See the videos below. In the first video, you can see compilation of car cams and street camera. In the second video, you can hear the loud explosion caused by the crashing of the meteorite. Based on reports, there are more than 1000 injured due to this event.
I think the governments should focus on how to prevent these rocks from hitting earth instead of spending time and money worrying about “neighbors”. Here is the second video.
