In Russian, an Expresso Bar has almost done that. It has fitted its table with Nokia wireless charging units and customers can just place their devices to get them charged. Check out the video.
It might be a wish comes true if every phone is fitted with Qi wireless charging technology and every place is fitted with Qi Charging units to charge the devices.
Based on the take up rate, I don’t think you can see such places commonly in 2013. Nevertheless, it is a good start. Check out how they converted the bar to be wireless-charging friendly.
