Facebook is getting employees to change from iPhone to Android phones. Posters have been seen around the Menlo Park, Calif. headquarters of Facebook asking employees to “Switch Today”.
According to the poster, it seems that Facebook predicted that Android will be the major phone OS in 2016. What that means is that more people will be accessing Facebook via Android smartphones.
Traditionally, Facebook app on iOS will be the first to get updated before Android and other OSes. Now, seems like Facebook might be focusing on Android now.
And apparently, Facebook has set up a channel (via email) for their employees to make the change. Apple should be a little worried now, I guess.
