This is super good news. Finally, Singapore can has Google Voice Navigation function. Not sure when it was turned on. Now, you can get turn by turn navigation on your Google Maps.
Go to Google Maps. Select the “direction” features. Select a “end point”. It will give you the usual direction. However, when you click on the “navigation” button (like an arrow key), the maps will search for your GPS location and you will GET YOUR VOICE NAVIGATION. Try it!
Personally, I have not try it yet on the road but I managed to get the navigation to start. It is a male voice. If you have done so, do let me know if it is good, ok?
BTW, the news of Google Voice Navigation was mentioned in Straits Times early November. Google Singapore did not comment on it and surprisingly, it is available now.
