SkyDrive App Now Available on Windows and Mac

Finally, Microsoft has released an app for SkyDrive on Windows and Mac. Previously, we will need to use the browser to access the content on SkyDrive. Now, with the app, it behaves just like a folder. Nice work, Microsoft!

This is actually good news. For the longest time, I did not really use the 25GB given free from Microsoft because it seems that there is a lot of inconveniences using it from a browser.

So, recently, they changed the UI which is great and I started to use it. However, it is nothing compared to use it like a folder. With SkyDrive app popping on Windows Phone and iOS, it did help a bit but with the app available from today, I must say that I will use SkyDrive more often. BTW, Microsoft do have BIG PLANs for SkyDrive.

Here are the feature of SkyDrive

Features

  • Access your SkyDrive right from Windows Explorer—photos, documents, and all your other important files.
  • Quickly add new files to SkyDrive by dragging them to the SkyDrive folder.
  • Easily organize your files and folders in SkyDrive, just like any other folder.
  • Connect back to your PC if you forget to put something in SkyDrive.
