29 February, 2012, SINGAPORE – Today, the Xbox team in Singapore is excited to announce that the “Kinect Star Wars” game and the Xbox 360 Limited Edition “Kinect Star Wars” console bundle are now available for retail pre-orders at participating retailers in Singapore for S$59.90 and S$649.00 respectively. Customers who pre-order either the game or the console bundle will receive a free premium of a Star Wars toy figurine from Hasbro worth $19.90.
Fans who pre-order the game and/or the Xbox 360 Limited Edition “Kinect Star Wars” console bundle from retail will be able to collect their purchases and premium on Tuesday, 3rd April, 2012, from 12:30pm to 8:00pm at the Plaza Singapura main atrium1. Those who are unable to claim their preorders at the event can redeem directly at retailers from 5th April, 2012. General availability begins from 5th April at all participating retailers.
StarHub will also be offering the Xbox 360 Limited Edition “Kinect Star Wars” console bundle free to its customers as part of its 50Mbps Fibre Home Broadband Plan or 50Mbps Cable Broadband two-year plan at S$81.32 monthly. Each StarHub customer will also receive the Star Wars toy figurine for free.
Make A Date With Kinect Star Wars At Plaza Singapura
Xbox is also inviting the public to come experience “Kinect Star Wars” during its launch carnival at Plaza Singapura’s main atrium from 4th to 8th April 2012. There will be special appearances by Star Wars characters from the local garrison of the 501st Legion, as well as fun Star Wars-related activities for the family during the weekend.
Plaza Singapura is also where the grand finale of the ongoing Dance Central Championships 2012 will be held from 6th to 8th April 2012. Duels of Fate

Podracing mode:
- Become a champion in the most dangerous sport in the Galaxy. Complete in six races across five planets.
Rancor Rampage mode:
- There’s been an escape from the pit under Jabba’s palace – a Rancor monster is loose, and threatens to destroy Mos Eisley. Your job is to wreak havoc – you are the Rancor!
- Playing as four different Rancors, destroy Naboo, Mos Espa, Mos Eisley and Felucia.
Galactic Dance Off mode:
- Dance for Jabba the Hutt and against many of your other favorite Star Wars characters
- Star Wars characters provide the music, which includes tongue-in-cheek remakes of popular songs with a Star Wars theme
