For the first time, Apple has listed out its suppliers. In an unprecedented move, Apple listed out its suppliers and instances of rights violations by some of them.

According to Apple Supplier Responsibility 2012 Progress Report, there are 5 facilities with underage labor and there are 15 facilities that workers paid excessive recruitment fees to recruitment agencies.

To me, this is definitely a great move towards transparency. As for the suppliers list, there are a total of 156 companies but it did not state the 2nd tier.
