Skype 2.2. Beta Available for Linux Now

I am not familiar with Linux. However, I guess this should be good news to Linux users. Skype 2.2 Beta (codename Access Granted) is now available for Linux users, together with Skype Access.

Linux users can now connect to over 500,000 WiFi hotspots worldwide using your Skype Credit. A few issues have been resolved in this new release.

Finally we fixed a number of problems identified by our internal and external users:

  • Ubuntu users experienced PulseAudio issues with the latest versions
  • KDE users experienced graphic issues using the default Oxygen style
  • and many more – check our release notes

Do check out their release notes.
