I did not know that RIM Playbook does not have native email, calendar or contact. I thought this is the basic feature for any tablet. But not to worry, RIM is working on it and right now, I guess the best way is to use the Playbook Bridge App to cover the gap.
Included inside this BlackBerry Bridge app is BBM. I guess many BlackBerry users communicate via BBM. There is no mention of when the native Calendar, Email and Contact will be available.
Right now, just take a look at the demo.
If you really want to hear from RIM about the native applications, watch the video on the interview with PlayBook’s Senior Product Manager, Ryan Biden. I did not watch it but from Engadget, the “interesting stuff” starts from 3:40 minutes onwards.
