This Pleco Chinese Dictionary app for iPhone/iPad is really cool. It shows the definition of Chinese character on real time using OCR. There is also option to increase the field to recognize more characters. Watch the video for better understanding.
It is quite an amazing product and it is free (but OCR is an add-on that needs to pay) on iTunes App Store for both iPhone and iPad version. For iPad version, you can use it as a normal dictionary.
