HP Slate 500 Tablet Official with a Surprise – Video Within

HP has finally announced HP Slate 500 Tablet officially. So, if you don’t mind that it is meant for business usage, you should be able to get it at US$799. BTW, the HP official information states that now it is offering HP Slate 500 in US only.

One of the surprises that packed into this slate is incorporating Wacom active digitizer for taking notes. I guess this will be good. Other than this, the usual specs (that have been leaked out) are there:

  • 8.9-inch capacitive touch
  • 1.86GHz Intel Atom Z540 processor
  • Windows 7 Professional
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 64GB SSD
  • Broadcom’s Crystal HD accelerator for handling 1080p video
