Twitter Turned on OAuth, Is Your Twitter App Working?

Written by Joe Teh on September 1, 2010

Twitter has officially turn on OAuth. According to Twitter, it will provide more security for users as users will not need to keep the username and password on devices. I did not realize it until I try to use Twitter on HTC HD2. It will be affecting many people. Are you one of them?

I don’t think there is a way to work around as OAuth is not using the username and password stored on the device.

Some explanation on Twitter Blog

What does this mean for me?
The move to OAuth will mean increased security and a better experience. Applications won’t store your username and password, and if you change your password, applications will continue to work.
