The time has come for Google to move on. Google has announced on their blog that since the adoption rate of Google Wave is slow, they will be stopping development on Google Wave as a single product.

I still remember when Google started Google Wave invitation, many people are scrambling to get one. One of our Gwave user in Singapore, DK, has even started a Singapore Google Wave  list. As of last check, there were about 400 of us in this list.

I remembered the Wave was so slow and unresponsive. Many stop visiting and conversations become luke warm.

It seems that Google has gotten the message that it should move on. Nevertheless, they mentioned that they have “learned” a lot and may use their experiences in other products.
