Starhub Launches DRM Free Music Store, Now You have more Choices

Starhub has opened a Music Store. It is similar to Singtel Amped services except that it provides DRM(digital rights managment)-free music. What this means is that the music can be transferred without any restriction.

I guess providing DRM-free music is a good move as nowadays, many people has more than one devices and they wish to listen to their music everywhere.

Currently, iTunes can only transfer from Apple devices (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch). With Starhub’s new Music Store, there is no restriction at all.

You can transfer to any devices that play MP3. From Starhub FAQ:

19. Can I transfer the music I purchased contents from the Music Store to other media player devices?
As the contents on the Music Store is DRM-free (free from Digital Rights Management), Music Contents purchased from the Music Store can be transferred to any other media player devices..
