Have you heard of Neofonie’s WePad? Yes, no typo mistake here, it is a “We” instead of “I” and yes, it is matching itself against the iPad. A tall order? Lets see the specifications after the break.

From their website, WePad will be running on Google Android and will have access to Android Marketplace. It will also have its own webstore, called WePad Appstore. There was no mention of whether it is a capacitive touch screen or not. Nevertheless, the company is open that it is targetting at Apple iPad with its very “competitive” pural name and a comparison factsheet.

Anyway, we will have to see the user experience to determine the winner. Remember, the iPhone was just a standard phone when it was launched. However, the user experience had won many over.
