Don’t be surprised that one day, you can click on a store on Google Street View and able to view the inside of the shop. According to SearchEngineLand, a tipster from New York mentioned that Google employee came to the shop and took pictures for “every 6 feet” in all directions.
BTW, this tipster is actually from this shop, Oh Nuts. It seems that this Google employee is taking everything, inclusive of the products. SearchEngineLand took a step further to contact Google on this matter and here is the reply.
We are always experimenting with new features for Google Maps. We have nothing further to announce at this time.
So, what do you think? I wonder will the shop be asked to pay in future for such service. And this becomes another revenue model for Google? Nothing is concrete here. However, since Google did not deny it (or confirm it), it may be a while to really see “something” from Google.
