Last week, I mentioned that Google is going to launch its music service. Now the information is official. However, it is not a new search page. In fact, Google has integrated it into the standard search.
Google will not be selling those music (as I thought it will previously). In fact, they are working with partners to make the search for music easier. Now, if you do a search on music, it will perform a “time to music” instead of “time to results”. The results will show information or clips that you can listen to and it will take you to partner website that you can purchase the song.
The Search for Music function will roll out across US gradually. However, I don’t think Singapore will get it. Nevertheless, Google has dedicated a website to search for music.
