This little Penguin Robot called MyDeskFriend is one cute desk robot. As the name implies, it is your desk friend. It moves around the desk with sensors that would not let it get killed (by jumping off the edge). Best of all (or not), is that it can connect to Facebook so that it can be fed by your friends and read updates to you.
The development is still finalizing the colors and etc. Slated to be available in September. Below is a screenshot of it on Facebook. Your friend can choose to spoil it by feeding it. In return, this little robot can help you to read out friends who came online and also their updates.
Apart from Facebook application, MyDeskFriend can also perform generic services like notify you when emails arrived, read weather forecast of a country and etc.
