Saw this news on Straits Times. POPULAR Bookstore was compromised and hacked. The hackers was using the address to redirect them to their own website. I googled for the news from Websense and saw that it has in fact put up this information on 5th June 2009.
According to Websense, it mentioned that the hackers add in a pop up malicious code to redirect the users to another website. See below screen shot.
Update from Straits Times:-
Popular’s marketing manager Lynn Lee on Monday confirmed the breach, and said it has since fixed the problem.
‘No customer data has been lost,’ she said.
Popular and the company that hosts its website in Hong Kong are both investigating the attack and will consider further legal action if it is able to identify the perpetrator.
