Update: The Picture Shown is NOT the P-series but a TT-series. the actual P-series is still a mystery.
Remember the post where I blog about an event on 9th January where Sony says that we would change the way we look at laptops. I was thinking that it should be something very interesting. And with the previous post that shows a teaser from Sony, I was quite sure that the new toy would be very very different.
However, a post from Engadget breaks my hear. It shows Sony latest P series. A small portable (I think) laptop that looks like, you guess what, a Netbook.
Why? Because of the specs.
From the picture, you can see: โ
- Processor: 1.33 GHz Intel Processor
- OS: Windows Vista
- Screen: 8 inch LED Backlit 1600 X 768 pixels
- Hardisk: Up to 60GB or SSD at 128GB
No mention of how much it cost. Looking at these specs makes me wonder why Sony is making this laptop. There are so many others that are much better specs, similar size than this.
I guess this model will only appeal to the true fan of Sony. Anyway, I am still hopeful on the 9th January announcement.
