Good news to those who has lost their digits (finger). Touch Bionics has produced ProDigits that is able to be customized to replace amputated fingers. It uses myoelectric regime which reacts to the muscle signals from the residual hand or pressure from the remnant finger for its input.

Pleo is back. Remember the cute little dinosaur that stir up quite a big interest last year? The company went down and everyone thought that Pleo will be gone for good. Good news is that it has been revived by Jetta, who bought the rights to Pleo several months ago, and has relaunched Pleo under the Innvo (Innvo Labs Corporation) brand. Welcome back, Pleo!

iRobot, famous for its robot vacuum cleaners, is doing something out of the world. Imagine a shape shifting robot that morph into the surrounding. iRobot is working with DARPA to come out with something like that. They used a technology they called Jamming. It uses a simple theory of introduction of air to enable shape changing and removal of air to fix the shape. Difficult to explain here. Watch the video after the break.
