Attended LG Digital Press Conference today (14th September). It was an unique Press Conference as we were digitally linked to many countries. Will blog about it. Here is the Press Release.
Japan will soon have another Android Tablet to their collection. Mouse Computer is bringing in LuvPad AD100 that is powered bt Android 2.2 (Froyo) and Tegra 2.
With so many tablets running with Froyo at IFA 2010, it was thought that the Android 2.2 might be the best experience on Tablet. However, Google director of products for mobile, Hugo Barra, mentioned clearly that “Froyo is not optimized for use on tablets”
Leaked pictures of an up and coming Acer phone surfaced. Touted to be running on Android 2.2 (Froyo) and encased in an aluminum casing, this Acer Liquid Metal Android phone actually looks good.
Finally, got to meet up with Viewsonic ViewPad 7, the 7-inch Android Tablet. I have quite high hope for it as it sports a decent specs. However, when I played with it, I find that it is not as responsive as Samsung Galaxy Tab and a fingerprint magnet.
I had attended IFA 2010 for the past 3 days and got the same information from blogger friends that Samsung Galaxy Tab is selling at 799 Euro for 16GB (I actually asked the promoter at the show). However, it seems that Engadget has news that Galaxy Tab will be cheaper.
