Samsung Completed Its First Galaxy Walkathon

More than 610 participants attended Samsung’s first-ever Galaxy Walkathon at The Kallang on the early morning of 13 September 2026.

Held in support of the Singapore Heart Foundation’s heart health movement and in celebration of SG61, the event saw participants complete a 5km scenic walk around The Kallang precinct. Samsung also pledged a donation to support the Foundation’s ongoing programmes.

The walkathon was powered by Samsung Health and the latest Galaxy smartwatches, showing how everyday technology can help people build healthier habits in a more accessible way. As the first activation under Samsung and The Kallang Group’s multi-year partnership, the event also formed part of the National Stadium Experience, bringing families and the wider community together through shared, feel-good activities. To mark the occasion and raise awareness for heart health, The Kallang Group lit up the National Stadium in red on the evening of 13 September.

Beyond the walk, participants explored the Walkers’ Village, which featured hands-on Galaxy product experiences, a guided cool-down session, partner booths, sports try-outs, and the AL!VE Artisan Market. The event highlighted Samsung Singapore’s broader push to promote healthier communities through technology, partnerships, and community engagement. The Galaxy Walkathon marks the start of future initiatives to help Singaporeans stay active, connected, and motivated in their everyday health journeys.
