Apple launches its first foldable, the iPhone Duo, together with the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4, and Apple AirPods 5.

It is interesting that there is no more basic model like the iPhone 17. The basic model for iPhone 18 Series is now iPhone 18 Pro. And another surprise for me is the 2TB options for all the iPhone models. What is shocking is the pricing for the iPhone Duo (2TB) at SGD 4,899!
Let me provide a summary of the products.
Apple iPhone Duo
iPhone Duo is Apple’s first foldable iPhone, built around a pocketable design that opens into a 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR inner display while also offering a 5.4-inch outer display for everyday use.
iOS 27 is reworked for Duo with side-positioned controls, a vertical dock, smooth transitions between screens, split-view multitasking, paired apps, adaptive layouts when partially folded, and a reimagined StandBy mode. Powered by the A20 chip and C2 chip, it offers up to 35% higher sustained performance than iPhone 17 Pro, eSIM-only connectivity worldwide, up to 31 hours of video playback on the inner display, 44 hours on the outer display, and fast charging to 50% in around 20 minutes.
Its camera system includes a Fusion main camera, 48-megapixel photos, 2x optical-quality telephoto, 4K 120 video, 4K Dolby Vision HDR time lapses, a 48-megapixel Fusion Ultra Wide camera, centre stage front camera, under-display FaceTime camera, Dual Capture, Duo Preview, KidCue, and Smart Take, with accessories including the iPhone Duo Folio and two-part case.
