Two 360 cameras are going to be launched almost at the same time. They are the DJI OSMO 360 II and Insta360 X6. Singapore National Day is celebrated with AI movies.
DJI Osmo 360 II to be launched on 13 August 2026 8pm SGT
DJI is launching Osmo 360 II in China on 13 August at 8pm SGT. Not sure about the global launch date. there are not a lot of details but if you visit the China DJI website, you can see a teaser of the lens protection cap being screwed onto the Osmo 360 II. Let me know if you have more information.
Insta360 X6 to be launched on 12 August 2026 9am EDT or 9pm SGT
Insta360 X6 has a launch date and they are not shy to allow media people sharing some of the features on the Insta360 X6. You can check them out HERE.

Singapore related AI Movies
Singapore National Day is tomorrow (9 August), and two companies are showcasing Singapore in their AI movies.
One of them is from Spore Fall. They are making short AI movies called Spore Fall. For this National Day, they infused zombies-like monsters descending into a Singapore National Day Celebration. Check out this short film – Bersama Majulah (Together, Onward).
Another one is from this company, FizzDragon. Their movie will be released on National Day at GV VivoCity at 2pm. If you are interested, check it out. Here is their trailer.

Both of these AI movies have caused a lot of comments on social media. Some asked why make a zombie movie for National Day. Others are saying that the quality of the AI movie (e.g. Trace Project) should not be even put into movie theatres. What do you think?
