Who is excited to get a triple fold phone that is as big as a tablet when fully opened and as thin as 3.9mm with quite a large battery capacity?

The Galaxy Z TriFold delivers premium performance and the experience of a flagship phone that is easily pocketable, yet when unfolded twice reveals an expansive 10-inch display[1]. This new form factor allows for ultimate portable productivity and cinematic viewing, ideal for those users who strive for a best-in-class mobile phone experience.
The Galaxy Z TriFold will be available to purchase first in Korea, followed by other global markets including China, Taiwan, Singapore, UAE and USA. Upon launch, the Galaxy Z TriFold will be on display at the Samsung Experience Stores at VivoCity, 313 @ Somerset and Jurong Point for hands-on discovery.

The folding mechanism has been precisely engineered for an easy open-and-close – there’s even an auto-alarm to alert the user of incorrect folding through a series of on-screen alerts and vibrations. Measuring just 3.9mm at its thinnest point[2], the Galaxy Z TriFold delivers flagship-level performance powered by the customised Snapdragon® 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy3, 200MP camera[3] and Samsung’s biggest battery ever in a foldable phone. The 5,600 mAh three-cell battery system[4] has been placed in each panel of the device for balanced power delivery, thermal management and all-day endurance. To balance the power of an ultra-quality device in a thin, portable frame, a re-optimisation of its core foldable technology was necessary. Every part of the device has been crafted with deep attention to structural innovation and product assurance:
- Samsung’s Most Advanced Hinges Yet: Drawing on its heritage in foldable phone innovation, Samsung refined the Armor FlexHinge to meet the unique demands of the Galaxy Z TriFold. Two different sized hinges with a dual-rail structure work in harmony, creating a smoother, more stable fold despite varying weight and components across the device. The hinge structure also allows the screen panels to meet securely with minimal gap, enabling a thinner, more portable device.
- Restructured Foldable Display: The Galaxy Z TriFold introduces new display technology made for the 10-inch screen that folds twice into a pocketable phone. A reinforced overcoat has been added to a shock-absorbing display layer for better resistance across the dual-folding device.
- Advanced Materials on the Exterior: The titanium hinge housing introduces a thin piece of metal that protects the folding mechanism and resists wear over time. The frame of the device is supported by Advanced Armor Aluminum[6], a high-strength alloy to add rigidity without increasing bulk. The frame helps ensure that the screens don’t make contact with one another, and a ceramic-glass fibrereinforced polymer back panel keeps the design thin yet resistant to cracks.
- Each Device Receives the Highest Quality Checks: Every unit goes through a series of strict quality checks to achieve every small requirement.
