It is official. DJI has launched the DJI Mini 3 Pro, and the leak is accurate. There are some interesting improvements as compared to DJI Mini 2. I like the new controller and that it can shoot content in vertical mode.

Here is the intro video.
Most countries allow you to fly a drone without a license if it is under 250g. Like some of the DJI drones, this latest DJI Mini 3 Pro is below 250g which means you can fly it without a license (do check with your country’s authority before purchase). In Singapore, you do not need to register the drone if it is under 250g. Click HERE for more details.
Many might be interested to know what are the changes in this Mini 3 Pro. I copied this from their FAQ. It is simple to understand the differences as compared to DJI Mini 2 and DJI Mavic Air 2.
Compared with previous products, what upgrades does DJI Mini 3 Pro have?
Compared with DJI Mini 2 and Mavic Air 2, DJI Mini 3 Pro has improved battery life, intelligent features, video transmission, and a fully upgraded imaging system and visual sensing system.
Specifically: Inheriting the 249 g light and compact body, DJI Mini 3 Pro comes with a 1/1.3-inch image sensor that supports native HDR. It supports three-directional obstacle sensing and the newly upgraded APAS 4.0 (Advanced Pilot Assistance Systems). It supports DJI O3 FHD digital video transmission, ensuring a stable live feed at distances of up to 12 km. DJI Mini 3 Pro also supports intelligent features like FocusTrack, True Vertical Shooting, Timelapse, MasterShots, and High-Speed QuickTransfer.
There are a number of options that you can select for this DJI Mini 3 Pro. For example, you can purchase without the remote controller, or you can purchase with the original controller (without screen) or the latest controller with the 5.5-inch screen.
These are the two RCs that you can choose.

And DJI also introduces an extended battery for this DJI Mini 3 Pro. The standard battery allows flight time of 34 mins while the extended battery allows you up to 47 mins of flight time.
