Xiaomi today launches the latest POCO X3 NFC in a Global Virtual Event. The POCO X3 NFC is a mid-range phone with really nice specifications and pricing.
I have very little interaction with POCO phones. This is actually my first time to listen to their presentation. Basically, the POCO X3 NFC is touted as a gaming phone with affordable pricing.
There are 4 categories which were discussed this evening – Camera, Design, Performance and Battery.
I guess there is a fifth category which is the pricing which I will share below.
It seems like POCO has done their research with fans to get what they wanted.
One of the impressive things I saw is the LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus. It is a cooling pipe that does what it says. Impressive that it is incorporated into a mid-range phone.

On the camera portion, POCO shows a few filters. I really don’t understand why the fans would want these filters. Anyway, one of them caught my eyes. That is the AI Skyscraping 3.0 which you can use to customize the skies.

Prices and availability
I guess the very important part of the event is the availability and pricing. It is available from 9th September with these pricings.
Starting from September 9, POCO X3 NFC will be available in two colors – Shadow Gray and Cobalt Blue in Singapore, the 6GB+64GB variant will be retailed at SGD 329 and 6GB+128GB at SG 399.
As part of the first sale in Singapore, the 6GB+64GB variant will be available exclusively on Shopee from September 9 to 12 at an early bird price of SGD 299, a drop from SGD 329. In addition, customers will receive a complimentary POCO mousepad and a BlackShark Fun Cooler.
As for the 6GB+128GB variant , it will be available in an early bird deal with a price of SGD 349, a drop from SGD 399, and customers will receive a free POCO digital pouch and a BlackShark Fun Cooler Pro.
