You can watch thousands of iTunes Movies on a Samsung TV. Samsung is adding Apple TV App, AirPlay 2 into the 2019 TV models. And on selected 2018 models, you can also get them via a firmware update.
That is not all. When the Apple TV+ is launched (target to be in Fall this year), Samsung will be able to support it.

Samsung Becomes First TV Manufacturer to Launch the Apple TV App and AirPlay 2
Beginning from 15 May, the new Apple TV app and AirPlay 2 are available on all 2019 Samsung Smart TVs and selected 2018 models
SINGAPORE – 17 May 2019 – Samsung Electronics Singapore has announced today that all 2019 Samsung Smart UHD TVs and selected 2018 TV models1 with a firmware update will feature the all-new Apple TV app and offer AirPlay 2 support. Consumers will now be able to enjoy iTunes movies on Samsung Smart TVs, providing them with more content than ever before.
“Over the years, Samsung has strived to provide our consumers with a wide selection of content on our Smart TV platform, including the most relevant and up-to-date local content such as CAST, Channel NewsAsia, Toggle and Viu apps,” said Steven Koh, Director, Consumer Electronics Business, Samsung Electronics Singapore. “We are proud to be the first TV manufacturer to integrate the Apple TV app on a Smart TV platform, taking users’ experience to the next level and enhancing their home entertainment experience.”
Fully integrated into Samsung’s Smart TV platform, users can simply select the Apple TV app icon to access all of their iTunes movies purchases and browse through more than 100,000 iTunes movies to buy or rent. These include titles that are available in 4K HDR, offering users pristine picture quality in terms of colour, depth and details.
Samsung Smart TV users will also be able to enjoy Apple TV+, Apple’s original video subscription service, in the Apple TV app across the same model lines when the service launches this fall. With AirPlay 2-enabled Samsung Smart TVs, users can now also effortlessly play videos and other content from their iPhone, iPad or Mac directly to their Samsung Smart TV.
The Apple TV app will work seamlessly with Samsung’s Smart TV Services, such as Bixby, to create a consistent experience across Samsung’s platform.
