Huawei launches the HUAWEI Mate 20 Series today at Causeway Point. As expected, it is a success. A few years ago, if you ask about Huawei phones, many might say “cheap China phones”. Today, the brand has built its reputation to be among the top (if not the top) anticipated phone of the year. Congrats to Huawei on its success.
I have iPhone friends asking if it is worth to jump over to Android, specifically to Huawei. One of their reasons is the camera. They love it. Another common reason is the design. Over the years, Huawei has managed to listen to feedback and incorporates what users wanted. For me, I love the specs. It has all the ticks on what most geeks want.
- Wireless charging, checked (15W wireless charging on Mate20 Pro!)
- In-screen fingerprint sensor, checked (Mate20 Pro sensor is more sensitive than their PORSCHE DESIGN HUAWEI Mate RS).
- Waterproof, checked (Now, Mate20 Pro is IP68)
- Almost Bezel-less, checked
- Big battery, checked (4,200 mAh for Mate20 Pro and 4,000 mAh for Mate20)
- Good camera, checked (Now you have Wide, Ultra Wide and telephoto lens)
There are more (i.e. wireless reverse charging). Check out my post on the HUAWEI Mate20 Series.
You might think that I am requested to say good things about Huawei. I am not. I can see Huawei’s hard work, commitment and innovation to become the top brand in recent years. This is something that I love to see in any brands. If you have that, I will definitely support.
