This is something unprecedented. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong is inviting anyone to the National Day Rally (if you need the criteria) via his Facebook page. Posted by his team, it sets a few criteria when submitting the request.

PM Lee will be speaking at this year’s National Day Rally on Sunday, 19 August, at ITE College Central. Want to attend this event? Send us your response to “What Makes Singapore Home”.
Some rules:
- Like and Follow PM Lee Hsien Loong’s Facebook Page.
- Your may post a photo, video, poem, or whatever digital format inspires you!
- If you include a caption, please keep it to 100 words or less.
- Don’t forget to use the hashtag #InviteMeToNDR, and tag PM’s Facebook Page in the post.
- Your Facebook post needs to be public!
- Email us the link and a screen capture copy of the post to ndr@pmo.gov.sg. Please also include your full name and NRIC.
- If you have a family member who doesn’t have a Facebook account, help them post on yours! Or do a joint entry!
Deadline for entries is Sun, 29 July 2018. Selected responses will be invited to NDR 2018 as PM’s social media guests. Look forward to hearing from you! 🙂

So, if you want to have a say on what makes Singapore home, feel free to submit. I am surprised that they actually used those rules usually by social media people like “Like and Follow PM Lee Hsien Loong’s Facebook Page”. Haha, good one.
